Man have I been busy.
I worked 8 days in a row, most of which required getting up earlier than normal. Thursday my husband got Lasik surgery - this was kind of a last minute thing but a coworker did me a solid and came in early so I could go to the appointment. Went to the gym, forgot my work clothes, went back home, went to work, left to get my husband and take him to the appointment, did that, came home, went back to work and closed the store. Whew. But he's doing good and can see much better now.
Today we're heading south to go to a wedding and will come back Sunday night.
I feel a little burnt out. But maybe the weekend spent hanging out with family will help.
I haven't run all week, it's been hard to get up early especially when your legs are sore - and it's been rainy every single day. But I did get 2 gym sessions in. Managed to PR my deadlift the other day, now working with 135 for all sets. If I had to guess, my max is probably close to my body weight at this point - 165, 170?
I am feeling the DOMS this week. I guess it comes from switching back to heavy lifting.
Yes, that's kinda how my week has been.
Next week I plan on 2 runs and 2 gym's. Tough Mudder awaits :)
